Preparations for NPL 2025 Completed

Kathmandu: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced that all preparations have been finalized for the second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

The franchise-based Twenty20 tournament is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 17, and will run until December 13.
According to CAN General Secretary Paras Khadka, the winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs 11 million. The Janakpur Bolts, champions of the inaugural edition, will be defending their title.

Likewise, the first runner-up will receive Rs 5.1 million, the third-place team Rs 2.5 million, and the fourth-place team Rs 1.5 million.
A total of eight franchise teams will compete in the league. The opening match will be played between the Janakpur Bolts and the Kathmandu Gurkhas at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
